The Law Department has declared the summery for the boards’ students to be promoted into the next classes without examination. For the final decision, the summary has been sent to the cabinet.
Students’ Promotion Policy
According to the details, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Punjab Government had Cancelled the Final Examination of the 9th, 11th, and 12th class. It was decided that the students will directly be promoted to the next classes without examination. But by adding a clause in the board act the condition came under the adjournment. During this time, the suggestions for the ordinance and amendment in the board act are discussed but couldn’t be implemented. Then the Higher Education Commission, HEC has sent the case to the law department for the final decision.
Final Decision By Law Department
After receiving the case the Law Department has approved the summary and sent it to the cabinet. After the final approval by cabinet the final notification to promote the 40 lacs students will be issued.
