Good job: Matriculation results announced; Model Town DPS grabs top 3 positions

LAHORE: According to the matriculation results announced on Tuesday, the top three positions are secured by Model Town DPS Lahore.

Chairman Lahore Board Intermediate and secondary education (BISE), Mohammad Nasrullah Virk announced the result at a ceremony held at the Lahore BISE office. The first position was secured by Rana Omer Farman by securing 1087 out of 1100 marks, the second position was secured by Mohammad Shayan Waheed by securing 1086 marks, and finally the third position was secured by two students Syed Momin Ali and Hussnain Mushtaq by securing 1085 marks out of 1100.

In humanities group girls, Iqra stood first with 1,067 marks of Allama Iqbal Public High school, Kasur, the second position was shared by Areej Waseem of Farooqi Girls High School, Karim Park and Ayesha Khalid from Society Public Girls High School, Mughal Pura with 1,055 marks. Whereas the third position was secured by Uzma Waris with 1,045 marks.

In humanities group boys, Sabir Ali stood first with 1,034 marks from the Pakistan Model High School for Boys, Kasur, second position was secured by Shahzad from the Allied School (Al-Miraj Campus) with 1,006 marks. Allah Ditta from the Government Public Model School, Nain Sukh and Usman from Allama Iqbal Public Boys High School, Kasur shared third position with 994 marks.

Whereas in science group Semil Saleem from the Punjab Girls High School stood first by securing 1,083 marks; Ramisha Tahir from DPS Girls High School, Model Town, stood second with 1,082 marks and Sajal Tariq from Jinnah Grammar School scored third position with 1,079 marks.

Approximately 216,688 male and female candidates appeared in exams under the supervision of BISE Lahore board.

Prize ceremony in honor of the position holders would be organized at Al Hamra Hall on Wednesday.
