Faisalabad, Government College University Faisalabad GCUF has announced the date sheet for B.Com part 1 and 2, M.Com part 1 and 2 annual exams 2014 and M.Ed/B.Ed supply exams 2013. The detailed date sheet is available at the official website www.gcuf.edu.pk.
Meanwhile, Students of the Mass Communication Department of GC University Faisalabad have introduced an online radio channel “Aap ka Radio” on Tuesday. The first transmission was inaugurated by GCUF Vice Chancellor Zakir Hussin and said “Aap ka Radio” is a great effort by the students of Mass Communication Department.
He further said that with the help of education various social problems and evils in society can be abolished. The awareness campaign through radio can be productive. On this occasion the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Dean Shabaz Arif, Registrar Muhammad Ayub, Students Affair Director Nadeem Sohail, Media Advisor Irem Sultana and Coordinator Salma Amber were also present.
GC University, Faisalabad is a leading center of learning and research and has got a significant status. The GC University firstly started functioning as a primary school in 1897 in the present building of Govt. College for Women, Karkhana Bazar, Faisalabad. Further it was promoted to High School and Intermediate College in 1905 and 1924 respectively.
