FPSC Starts The Registration Of Competitive Examination CSS 2022 MCQ Based Preliminary Test

The Federal Public Service Commission has started the online registration of competitive exam CSS 2022 MCQ-based preliminary test (MPT). The FPSC has also announced the schedule for the test and according to the issued schedule the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) will hold MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) on 20th February 2022(Sunday). The candidates are informed that it is mandatory for them to qualify for the MPT test to appear in the written exam of CSS Competitive Examination, 2022 for recruitment to posts in BS-17 in various Occupational Groups/Services of Federal Government that includes Foreign Service of Pakistan, Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service of Pakistan, Inland Revenue Service of Pakistan, Pakistan Customs Services, Commerce & Trade Group, Information Services of Pakistan, Military Lands & Cantonment Group, Office Management and Secretariat Group, Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, Postal Group and Railways (Commercial & Transport) Group.

CSS MPT Test

Competitive Examination (CSS) 2022 - MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) will be held in the various cities depending upon the availability of sufficient candidates such as Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, D.I.Khan, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sukkur, and Turbat. The male and female candidates having at least a 2nd Division Bachelor’s degree and between the ages of 21 to 30 years are eligible to apply for the test. The upper age limit is relaxable by two years according to the CSS Competitive Examination Rules-201. The cutoff date for determining the eligibility of the candidates in terms of age, qualification, domicile, etc, is 31st December 2021.

Procedure For Submission of Application

The CSS aspirants have to apply online for the MPT test during the period 28th November to 15th December 2021. The FPSC has provided the online application form, rules, CSS MPT test challan form, CSS MPT test syllabus, and details of the CSS exam fee for the test. The last date for the submission of the online application form is 15th December 2021. The syllabus for the MCQ Based Preliminary Test has been provided so that the candidates can prepare for the test accordingly. 

Important Instructions

The candidates have to deposit exam fee of Rs. 250/ before the last date in the State Bank of Pakistan or the National Bank of Pakistan in the mentioned account. The candidates have to bring the Original Challan form at Exam Center at the day of the test. The candidates can download the computer-generated admission certificates from the FPSC web portal.

After the selection of the examination center, the candidates will not be able to change it. No request in this regard shall be entertained thereafter by the concerned authorities. The candidates are instructed to correctly CNIC Number & Date of Birth in the online form. In the case of wrong information, the application form of the candidates will be rejected. The strict compliance of CSS CE Rules is required and their acceptance by candidates is a pre-requisite. Moreover, the FPSC has Zero tolerance against cheating, and candidates are required to be fully aware of it.
