The cost of University’s construction is estimated to be RS. 1.627 billion, the building will spread over large area of 200 acres. During inaugural ceremony Prime Minister addressed the attendants; he stressed upon the development of higher education system of Pakistan on the pattern of developed countries such United States and United Kingdom.

He Said, ‘There is a very strong correlation between higher education and the rise of a country, A tiny country like Singapore has exports worth $330 billion while Pakistan, with a population of 210 million, has exports of hardly $24 billion’. PM shared his surprise that he came to know that this is the first ever University to be constructed in Sialkot, which he was informed by PTI leader Usman Dar. He further said, ‘The nations that progress are the ones that invest in their people and the more you invest in people's education, the more a nation progresses’.

The Government College Women University in Sialkot will have an administration block, an academic block and a student’s residential area and many other varsity facilities on the pattern of modern requisites. PM Imran Khan in his speech emphasized upon promotion of academic courses in fields of IT and artificial intelligence.

The PM of Pakistan was of the view that education is the foundation on the basis of which countries have stepped above the ladder of progress swiftly and reached the positions they are now standing. He gave an example of United States; he said it was not a super power 100 years ago; it invested in its people and made them its strength. The majority of youth in Pakistan’s population can become source of strength to build a progressive and developed country if the youth is given right direction and deserving education facilities.

PM Imran Khan expressed the motto of his Government, He said, PTI wants to utilize Pakistan’s resources, its talented youth and nature reservoirs in making it stand among developed countries. Although slowly, but Pakistan is leading towards a bright future. He seemed greatly inspired by Singapore’s progress and educational strategy. He pointed out that a single University of Singapore must have more budget than all the Universities of Pakistan spend collectively.

The main factors stopping Pakistan from progressing are lack of resources, financial troubles and deficiency of approachable educational infrastructure. Considering, the growing rate of population, there is need of immense investment. The Pakistanis who want to study but cant because of no financial support from family, should be given part time job facility, in the manner of western countries. Majority of students in Europe, USA, South Korea, Singapore, Canada and so many more, work part time to pay their study expenses.

Whereas, in Pakistan, even though the students who want to pursue their studies, are forced to quit because of unemployment. Besides investing in construction of Universities, Schools and colleges, the Government must plan out on providing jobs so that students can bear their educational expenses on their own.
