Rawalpindi, Flowers have always mesmerized people for centuries for their beauty and color and now the arrangement of thousands of colorful chrysanthemums would cast their spell on people visiting the Pir Maher Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) for four days (November 25-28) under ‘Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flowers Show’ that has commenced here at the university premises.

The show was arranged by the Department of Horticulture of PMAS-AAUR in collaboration with National Horticulture Society of Pakistan to provide a platform for different organizations to show their expertise in the field of horticulture and provide healthy entertainment to the residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The show is also aimed to promote positive aspects of floriculture in our daily life and provide a forum to hobby gardeners for sharing their ideas and exchanging information with professionals. The show will bring growers, researchers and buyers at a single place so that advanced techniques in the field of growing and production may be disseminated among the participants.

Professor Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Vice Chancellor, Agriculture University Faisalabad, along with Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Vice Chancellor PMAS-AAUR and Professor Dr. Zakir Hussain, Vice Chancellor, Government College University Faisalabad inaugurated the show.
