Jhang: A bright student is fighting for her life at the Allied Hospital of Faisalabad after her brother shot at and injured her for denying marrying before the completion of her education.

Warda, who secure the top position in BISE examination 2017 by scoring 1001 out of total 1100 marks in FSc and hopes for a career in medicine, suffered three bullets on her arm, face as well as her abdomen and is being treated in the emergency ward of the hospital.

The police also registered a case against the escapee twelve days after this incident. As per the FIR 1173/17 lodged under section 324 of PPC along with Kotwali police station, Shadab Colony’s Muhammad Aslam informed the Jhang Kotwali police that his son Sabir Hussain opened fire on the daughter of his candidate Warda because of her “marriage dispute” on October 24th, 2017. Sabir fled the house, he said.

He said Warda suffered injuries on her arm, face as well as abdomen and she was shifted to the Jhang District Headquarters Hospital from where she then was referred to the Allied Hospital.

The family claims that the girl has a distinguished education career and she wishes to be a doctor however an unfortunate incident has dowsed light out of her dream.

She appeals to Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to permit her to get admission to any medical college once she recovers.
