Federal Public Service Commission Postponed the CSS & General Recruitment Interviews in Pakistan

The Federal Public Service Commission has the keen responsibility of conducting the CSS (Central Superior Service) exam for the recruitment of candidates on BPS-17 and above in Pakistan. All candidates must have to qualify the written test, medical test, psychological test and more for the successful completion of the selection process. The candidates are assessed for the various compulsory subjects and optional subjects for the test which include English essay, English (Précis & composition), General Science & ability, Current affairs, Pakistan affairs, Islamic studies or comparative study of major religion for non-Muslim applicants. However, the option subjects may vary according to student interest and choice.

FPSC CSS & General Recruitment Interviews Schedule

All those applicants who have passed the Central Superior Service written exam are further called for medical examination and after successfully passing these phases the applicants have to pass the interview conducted by the FPSC so that they can decide whether to recruit a candidate or reject him. All those applicants who have passed the starting phases are informed that the Islamabad Capital Territory administration has notified on 15th March 2020 that the CSS & General Recruitment interviews are postponed for the applicants with a delay of one week. The CSS & General Recruitment interviews were going to be conducted on 16th March 2020 and now they will be conducted on Friday 20th March 2020 and stand postponed till further notice from the admiration.

Reason Behind Postponement Of CSS & GR Interviews

The main reason behind the postponement of CSS & GR (General Recruitment) interviews is the spread of Coronavirus. For taking precautions against the spread of epidemic Coronavirus the Federal Public Service Commission showed concern and the Islamabad Capital Territory administration decided to delay the exam so that more human life would be safe and threat of the spread of the virus can be dealt with proper precautions in the city.
