The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has announced 265 vacancies for principals and teachers at Daanish Schools in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Daanish Schools Authority is hiring five principals and 260 teachers for schools in Bagh, Bhimber, Ghanche, Sultanabad, and Astore.
Candidates from anywhere in Pakistan, including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, can apply on open merit. Applications must be submitted online through the Higher Education Commission's Education Testing Council (ETC).
One principal will be appointed at each of the five schools.
The ministry has also announced four teacher posts per subject at every school. Each subject carries two male and two female posts.

Principals will get a BS-20 equivalent package, plus one extra basic salary per month.
Their contract runs for two years at first. It can be extended for two more years if performance is satisfactory.
Teachers will be hired at DS-16, also with one extra basic salary. Their contracts run for three years initially and may be extended on the same basis.
Applicants need at least 16 years of education. A master's degree with a minimum second division from an HEC-recognized university is required.
Candidates must also have 17 years of experience as a principal or senior faculty member, preferably at a reputable institution.
The ministry wants applicants with leadership, management, and school administration experience. Candidates should know curriculum development, teacher recruitment, and general school management.
Good English communication skills are required. The maximum age for principal posts is 63 years.
Teacher applicants generally need 16 years of education in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized institution.
A minimum second division is required. Where the CGPA system applies, candidates need at least 2.50 out of 4.00, or 3.50 out of 5.00.
An M.Ed. or B.Ed. counts as an advantage for the relevant subject. English communication skills are also required.
The maximum age for all teaching posts is 50 years. Montessori or General Teacher applicants get an advantage with a Montessori training diploma or certificate.
Candidates must apply through the HEC Education Testing Council portal.
Applicants should register on the portal and fill in their personal, educational, and contact details carefully. They must pick the relevant post and submit before 4:00 PM on the closing date shown on the portal.
Only applications marked "Submitted" will be considered. Forms left incomplete will not be accepted.
The ministry will not accept applications sent by hand, courier, or email. A hard copy is not needed unless ETC or HEC asks for one.
