On Saturday 25th July 2020 Federal Board of intermediate and Secondary Education has again changed its policy related to matric students. The FBISE board has decided to promote the Matric and Inter students who have failed 40% subjects in their previous examinations.

FBISE has decided to promote the students who were declared failed about 40% of subjects. The FBISE has issued an amended notification on Saturday regarding its change in the examination policy. The notification read that the private candidates and former students would benefit from this move

Soon the results of the students would be announced in this context, said the board authorities. The students of the private side and former candidates were declared failed earlier by the board who were doing matric. The FBISE official social media account addressed to the students saying:

Earlier Notification Regarding Matric Students Policy

Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas announced on May 16 to promote students without conducting examinations for the next classes of matriculation and intermediate.
 
9th and 11th-grade students were decided to promote the next classes. The Results of 10th Class, after checking the exam papers would be announced.  The 12th-grade students can improve their marks of 11th grade by appearing in the 2021’s exams, the notification said. The composite exam will not be held for 9th and 10th Grade candidates next year.
