Compartment Cases: Candidates who have compartmental papers from the Matric Tech 1st Annual Examination 2026 are encouraged to clear their remaining papers.
Registered Fresh Candidates: Candidates registered with the board are also permitted to appear.
Private Candidate Restrictions: It is vital to note that private candidates are strictly NOT allowed to appear in the Matric Tech program due to the technical nature of the curriculum.
The board has completely digitized the registration process. Physical forms will not be accepted at the board headquarters unless explicitly stated for specific cases. Below is the step-by-step workflow:
Institutions must log into the official web portal
Verify the pre-loaded data of registered candidates.
Submit the finalized list and generate the integrated bank challan.
Remit the required fee and complete the final submission online. No printed hard copies of regular forms should be posted to the FBISE office .
Visit the candidate corner at the official portal
Carefully enter all academic and personal credentials.
Generate the digital bank challan and make the payment at any branch of Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB), or via the EasyPaisa and JazzCash mobile applications.
Submit the soft copy online. Keep the physical transaction receipt safe for personal records.
Unlike regular and ex-candidates, Non-registered IBCC candidates must submit manual Admission Forms . These physical forms must be duly attested by a Principal or a Government Officer (BPS-17 and above) belonging to the Education Department. The physical form, along with the paid bank challan and supporting documents, must be submitted to the Board via post or delivered by hand.
No Post-Submission Subject Changes: Once the online admission form has been submitted, change of subjects or groups is strictly prohibited.
Disability Support: Candidates applying under the disability category must mention their specific accessibility needs in writing on their application. Failure to do so beforehand will prevent the board from making necessary accommodations on exam day.
Fee Exemptions: In line with social responsibility policies, the FBISE will charge zero examination fees from orphans, differently-abled candidates, prisoners, and the children/wards of martyrs ('Shuhada'). Valid proof/certificates must be uploaded online to avail of this exemption.
Language Exceptions: Candidates who have taken Geography of Pakistan in lieu of Urdu Compulsory must upload an attested copy of the formal permission letter granted by the FBISE.
The FBISE has explicitly stated that no physical Roll Number Slips will be mailed to candidates' residences. All students must handle their Matric Tech Roll Number Slip download directly from the portal.
Go to the official website
Navigate to the Roll Number Slip section.
Input your registration number or previous roll number.
Print the slip and bring it to the examination center.
Keep a close eye on official announcements regarding the publication of the official FBISE technical education date sheet , which will be released closer to the September commencement date.
