PESHAWAR: The faculty belonging to various areas of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) demonstrated a protest outside Peshawar Press Club, demanding up gradation of their services getting delayed for last four years. The teachers threatened the government to boycott the duties from tomorrow across the tribal region if government failed to fulfill their demands.

FATA teachers threatened the government to boycott the duties from tomorrow against demanding promotions in their services for the last four years.

The demonstration was led by All Tribal Teachers Association Fata President Malik Khan Mehsud. A huge number of male and female faculty staff attended the protest raising slogans against the government. Association’s President while expressing his views stated that the government had always discriminated Fata employees mainly teachers. He said the staff is keeping an eye on promotions over the past four years, but the authorities were using delaying strategies.

Malik Khan Mehsud insisted the government to execute seniority in Fata Education Department and bring to an end the defending policy.
