Due To Several Complaints, Substandard Online University Classes Are Stopped By HEC

The Higher Education Commission, HEC stops the universities online classes after receiving a large number of complaints. After getting lockdown throughout the country it was decided by HEC that the universities will conduct online classes to minimize the academic loss of the students or classes. However, the universities have conducted online classes for almost once or twice a week. But, there are several problems came to see while performing this activity.

The major complaints are about mismanagement, poor quality of coordination, connectivity problems, and low-quality content, etc. The final decision was declared on Wednesday by Dr. Tariq Banuri, the chairman of the Commission. 

The Final Decision By HEC

The chairman clearly said that, if a university is facing problems or difficulties in delivering proper lectures to students then the university should stop to commence online classes. Moreover, by keeping in view the present alarming situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the chairman has also said that the commission will support the universities or all other educational institutes in any educational or academic disruption.                                   

New Schedule Of Universities By Commission  

It has declared that almost all the universities including private sector universities and public sector universities will remain close until May 31^st, 2020. From June 1^st, 2020 all the educational activities will reschedule. Universities that delay their examination session and any other major activity will be rescheduled according to the instructions by the HEC.
