On Murad Ras’s social media account he said that the students of 9th and 11th grade will be promoted. The grade 10th paper will be checked and the result will be announced. Marking of answer scripts of class 10th will start from June 15, 2020 and result will be declared within 90 days. Also 12th grade students can decide either they want to double their 11th grade result marks or they want to appear in 2021 exams. The deadline for the decision is 15th July 2020.
He further said there would be no composite exams for the students of 9th and 11th grade next year. They will only appear in 10th and 12th grade exams and from their results 9th and 11th class results will be calculated.
In announcement number 3 he further said, all those students who could not appear in class 10th and 12th exams, such students will be assessed on the basis of 9th and 11th grade results such that they have passed all the subjects in 9th and 11th class. Also 3% extra marks will be added to their total marks for class 10th and 12th as students perform well in 10th and 12th.
4th announcement says those students who have failed in 40% subjects in 9th and 11th grade will be graded as pass by giving passing marks. Also a special exam will be held for 4 categories of students:
- The candidates who have applied for composite (part I-II) examinations.
- The candidates appearing for various additional subjects
- Those waiting to improve grade 11th result
- Those candidates who have failed in more than 40 % of exams
