CHARSADDA: The campaigners of the Pakhtun Students Federation (PkSF) on Thursday thespian a protest against the deficiency of teachers and other amenities at the Abdul Wali Khan Degree College Charsadda.
Carrying banners and posters emblazoned with mottos in favour of their demands, the apprentices led by the PkSF president Sheryar Khan gathered at the Farooq-e-Azam Chowk. They jammed the chowk for all types of traffic for some time.
The speakers said on the one hand the government was making tall entitlements of initiating revolutionary reforms in the education department while on the other, most of the educational institutes across the province needed the teaching staff and other services.
They said same was the condition at the Abdul Wali Khan Degree College which was disturbing studies of the students. The activists asked the government to fill the unoccupied posts of lecturers and provide other amenities at the college or else they would launch a protest work in an organized and active way towards a goal.
