CM Faculty development Program for Faculty of Punjab Government Colleges

Lahore: The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) is appealing the application from eligible candidates (teachers) of government sector colleges for awarding almost 30 international scholarships. The candidates who would be awarded with this grant will be able to pursue one year Master’s degree programme for the academic year 2016-2017.

Who can apply for this grant?

The candidates meet the following eligibility criteria are able to apply for this grant.

1). The applicant must be a permanent teacher of government sector colleges in Punjab.

2). The applicant must possesses BS / Master’s Degree (16 years of education to his / her credit).

3). Maximum age on application submission deadline is 50 years.

4). Preference would be given to those who have already got admission in QS top raking 300 educational institutes according to the ranking for academic year 2016-17.

Ineligibility Criteria:

The candidates with following conditions are not eligible to apply for this grant.  

1). A worker facing investigation under PEEDA Act

2). Candidate who has already completed Master’s Degree from international university.

3). Candidate who has already complete 18 years of education.

4). Those candidates who are already getting any other scholarship for the academic year 2016-17

5). The workers of Higher Education Department who are in a group of representatives are not eligible to apply for this scholarship programme. Though, these workers will be eligible to apply for grant after interpreting at least one year of service in a teaching institute of Higher Education Department (HED). 

6). Applicant having 3^rd division in the entire academic career.

7). Has less than 2 years of regular service in HED before closing date for submission of applications is ineligible.

Application Deadline:

Interested candidates can submit their application forms for this scholarship till 13^th June 2016.

Required Documents:

The applicants are required to send the hard copy of application forms together with below mentioned documents to Punjab Higher Education Commission.

·         A photocopy of Domicile

·         Attested photocopies of educational certificates / transcripts and degrees.

·         A photocopy of National Identity Card (NIC)

·         Appointment letter as a full time regular faculty of government college, Government of the Punjab

·         NOC from college, Government of the Punjab

·         Curriculum Vitae / Resume

·         UKVI IELTS (Academic) / TOEFL / GRE etc. score if valid

·         Valid offer / admission letter from a foreign university among QS top ranking 300 in one year Master’s programme (if available)
