For the last few days, news was circulating on social media regarding co education in private colleges of Pakistan. The news was that Co Education would be banned and the college which does not comply with this order, their recognition status will be revoked. As soon as the news went viral, Minister of Higher Education, Raja Yasir Humayun tweeted that Higher Education Department does not issue any sort of notification regarding co education in colleges of Punjab.

In his tweet, he urges the media to stop spreading the fake news. No decision has been made regarding Co Education according to his tweet. The colleges are continuing their education in the same way as before. They do not need to comply with any restrictions. Their recognition status will be maintained. It will not be eliminated under any circumstances.
