In a recent development, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has made a change in the decision regarding Eid-ul-Adha holidays, extending the break for government employees. This decision aims to provide ample time for individuals to celebrate and observe the religious festival.

Extended Holidays

As per the latest details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the holiday of June 28 for Eid-ul-Adha as well. The extension varies depending on the working schedule of government employees.

For government employees who work five days a week, the holiday period will now be from June 28 to June 30. This additional day off ensures that individuals have a longer break to spend time with their families and engage in religious activities.

On the other hand, for government employees who work six days a week, the extended holiday period will be from June 28 to July 1. This decision aims to provide these individuals with an even more substantial break, allowing them to fully enjoy the festivities of Eid-ul-Adha.

Revised Holiday Schedule

Initially, it was decided that offices open six days a week would have a holiday from June 29 to July 1, while offices operating five days a week would observe a two-day holiday for Eid-ul-Adha. However, sources now indicate a change in this schedule.

The latest information suggests that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the Eid-ul-Adha holiday on June 28, resulting in an extended break for government employees. A formal notification regarding this change has been issued by the Cabinet Division.
