BZU opens admission in PhD & M.phil programs for academic session 2017

Multan: Bahauddin Zakariya University is inviting the applications from the candidates for admissions in M.phil and PhD programs. The university is offering the admissions in the following disciplines:

M.Phil (Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology)

PhD (Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Chemistry)

Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil Program:

Students who wish to get admission in M.Phil programme are required to meet the given eligibility criteria:

1.       Students must have secured at least 50 percent marks in Pharm D exams (annual) system or CGPA 2.5/4.0 or CGPA 2.5/5.0 under semester system for admission In the abovementioned programs.

2.       The department will conduct admission test (based on subject) on the schedule date for admission in M.Phil programs.

3.       The university also accepts the GAT test conducted by NTS for admission in M.Phil programs.

4.       All those students who wish to apply for admission in M.Phil programs are instructed to submit the valid GAT (General) score if available along with their application forms to the department of pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria for PhD programs:

Students who wish to get admission in the above mentioned program must meet the following eligibility criteria.

1.       MS/M.Phil or equivalent degree in the related subject from recognized institute along with minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 (under semester system) or 1^st division (under annual system).

2.       The department will conduct admission test (based on subject) on the schedule date for the admission in PhD programs.

Note:

Admission test (based on subject) for M.Phil & PhD programs will be held in February 11^th, 2017 in the department of Pharmacy.

Availability of admission forms:

Students can get the application forms from the following branches of Habib Bank Limited and United Bank Limited after paying Rs 6, 00/-.

1.       Habib Bank Limited & United Bank Limited, University Branch Multan.

2.       Habib Bank Limited, board of intermediate and secondary education branch, Multan.

Students can also get the admission forms through mail by sending bank draft for Rs 600/- in favor of the treasure, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan for registered post deliver and Rs 820/- for delivery by courier service /OCS (where available) together with a self-addressed large size envelope.

Deadline:

Applications complete in all aspects must reach the department of Pharmacy on or before February 10^th, 2017 till 04:00pm.
