BISE Lahore Uploads The Accelerating Learning Program (ALP) Syllabus For Intermediate

Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has uploaded the accelerating learning program syllabus for the intermediate. The syllabus has been approved by the minister of education and the secretary school education department. The government has decided to remove the unnecessary topics for this academic session and prepare the smart syllabus for the students. Only 6 months have been left for the next educational year so the students will prepare according to the shortlisted and selected courses for the exam. The syllabus has been critically reviewed by the authorities. This decision has been taken by considering the situation of the COVID-19 that has severely affected the educational activities. 

Accelerated Learning Program 

The ALP program has been launched by the competent authority to condense the syllabus for the classes. The institutes had been closed for approximately six months and the physical classes could not be conducted. The teaching session was reduced because of the coronavirus pandemic so to facilitate the students Punjab Curriculum and Textbook board has devised the new syllabus especially for the students of intermediate. The Accelerated learning program defines the syllabus for the students who have to appear in the intermediate board exams 2021. ALP is also known as the Reduced Syllabus or Smart Syllabus. The students who will appear in the intermediate examination of 2021 will follow the smart syllabus recommended by the PCTB. In this way, they will be able to prepare for the exams in less time.

The students enrolled in the 11th and 12th class can check the syllabus of all the subjects mentioned below in the table. It is informed to the students to prepare accordingly to the new syllabus as the board has ensured to consider the same curriculum while formulating the paper of the annual examination of intermediate 2021.
