BISE Lahore 12th Class Result 2026: Gazette, Pass Percentage & Position Holders
BISE Lahore announced the Intermediate Part I & II (First Annual) Examination 2026 result on 23rd September 2026. Out of 189,373 candidates who appeared, 123,060 passed, giving an overall pass percentage of 64.98% — up from 60.86% in 2025. Girls outperformed boys across every group. The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially declared the result of the Intermediate Part I & II (First Annual) Examination 2026 for the 12th Class. The examination commenced on 20th May 2026, with theory papers concluding on 8th July 2026 and practical examinations wrapping up on 19th August 2026. The result gazette, issued by Controller of Examinations Toseef-ur-Rehman, covers students from Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib districts.

The overall pass percentage rose by over 4 percentage points compared to last year. Of the total 123,060 successful candidates, 15,093 scored A+ grades, 22,535 secured A grade, 35,604 achieved B grade, and 35,111 obtained C grade.
Gender-Wise Performance
Girls outperformed boys in every district this year. In Lahore district, girls posted a 73.74% pass rate against 51.54% for boys. The gap was similar elsewhere: Kasur (Girls 73.54% vs Boys 47.54%), Sheikhupura (Girls 78.17% vs Boys 51.10%) and Nankana Sahib (Girls 82.23% vs Boys 54.29%).

Improvement & Failed Candidates: What's Next
- Candidates get four improvement opportunities within four years of passing SSC and Intermediate, in subjects or subject groups previously cleared, before appearing in any higher examination.
- The highest marks obtained across attempts count toward the final result.
- Students absent for an improvement attempt retain their previous result.
- Grace marks subjects must be retaken with the improvement attempt; grace marks are not allowed during improvement.
- Candidates who failed the First Annual Examination 2026 can deposit the admission form and fee for the Intermediate Part-I & II (Second Annual) Examination 2026 as per the Board's prescribed schedule.
