Gujranwala, The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala has extended the date for submission of admission forms for Intermediate supplementary examinations from Oct 4 to Oct 13 with single fee.

The candidates will be able to submit forms with double fee till Oct 18 and with triple fee till Oct 22 and triple fee (Rs. 500/-per day) till Oct 25.

Keeping in view the convenience of students, the Punjab government has extended the registration date of college level declamation contests. Now the new last date has been fixed as October 5 so that maximum students could take part in the contests.

The registration for these declaration contests would be made in the offices of Deputy Director (Colleges) of concerned district.
Students of the Government College for Women, Samanabad, protested in front of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Wednesday against Intermediate Part-I “wrong” results.

The girl students, holding placards, claimed there were lots of mistakes in the results.

A BISE spokesman said 1,547 candidates had appeared from the Government College for Women, Samanabad, out of whom nine did not appear for their mathematics, biology and other papers and were declared as absent.

He said the students were protesting in a hope that they would be declared pass like last year giving the benefit of the doubt.
Mr Virk said the board had received 35 applications pertaining to correction of wrong roll numbers. Each candidate was supposed to pay Rs1,000 roll number correction fee.
