BISE Baluchistan Promotes Matric and Intermediate Students

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic the Baluchistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced to promote the matric and inter students to the next classes. This decision was taken in the 17^th meeting of Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference. As per sources the notification was issued that states that the students of 9^th and 11^th grade will be promoted to 10th and 12th class without appearing in the annual examination. The student promoted to the next class will not be allowed to take the composite exams in 2021. Furthermore the students’ scores of 9^th and 11^th class will be calculated on their performance based on the 10^th and 12^th annual examination 2021.

Promotion Policy For Students

The students of the 10^th and 12^th class who had passed all the papers of the 9^th and 11^th grade will pass to the next grade on the basis of their performance in the previous class. The students will be also awarded 3% extra marks in addition to their total marks. Moreover the students who had not passed the 9^th and 11^th exams previous year and failed up to 40% will be granted the passing marks 33% so that they can promote to the next class.

Commencement of Special Examination

BBISE has also announced to conduct the special exams for the students of the different categories such as the students that are not satisfied with their result of 11^th class, and want to improve their marks, the students that are failed in more than 40% subjects in class 9^th and 11^th.
