Big News Announced for Students of Intermediate and Matric

Federal Minister of education Mr. Shafqat Mehmood has announced that 9^th and 11^th class students would be promoted this year without exams. He said that the students of 10^th and 12^th will be rewarded 3% extra marks as students perform well in 10^th and 12^th class usually. Only total marks will be announced not subject wise result will be announced.

However, 9^th and 11^th class students will only be promoted but, they would appear for 10^th and 12th class exams next year. Based on their performance in 10^th and 12^th class their 9^th and 11^th class marks will be given.

Furthermore, he said that those students who have failed in 40% of subjects will be given grace marks and would be promoted to next class. A special kind of exams would be conducted for such students who have failed in 40% of the subjects or the improver or who want to appear in exams. This exam will be taken in between September or November.
