Karachi, The Controller of Examinations, Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK), on Monday announced that papers scheduled for January 19 (tomorrow) have been postponed on account of the Urs of Shah Abdul Lateef Bhitai. Now, the papers would be held on January 22 (Saturday) while the centers and timings would remain as per original schedule.
According to the notification issued here, all offices and departments working under the Sindh government would remain closed due to the Urs.
Meanwhile, the Acting Controller of Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has also announced that the examination of Oriental Languages, 2010 which was scheduled on January 19 has been postponed due to the holiday. The said exams would now be held on January 22 (Saturday) at the same time and examination centers.
