All Secondary School Certificate Matric Students Will Study Latest Computer Science Course After Two Centuries In Sindh, Pakistan

The students of Secondary School Certificate part-1 and part-2 of matric class are informed that after two centuries the education department of Sindh has changed the course outline of matric students studying in the Sindh province through various educational institutes. In the Karachi city, the students are now going to study the new course books of latest computer science. The express news has been officially informed by the Sindh education department that the new session will study their matric class according to the new prescribed course of computer science.

Commencement Of New Scheme of Studies

The commencement of the new scheme of studies will be from the month of July for the 2020 and 2021 session. In the new session, the students of 9^th class and 10^th class will be studying the new scheme of studies including the latest computer science subjects and other science subjects. Moreover, the education department of Sindh has already set the formula of division for the latest computer science subjects on 9^th December 2019. According to this formula, the old coursebook 8 chapters will be taught in the ninth class and 3 of them will be taught in the 10^th class.

Education Department Official Letter For Schools

The decision was made for the change in course outline when the new coursebooks of computer science were already formatted by the education department. For the justification of this decision the education department wrote a letter for the schools which described the Urdu course outline and English course outline details on 21^st February 2020.

New Curriculum For Session 2020-2021

Last year the express-news also published news related to changes in the science group subjects. However, on 21^st February 2020 announced in a press conference for stockholders and position holders students regarding the new curriculum which will be based on the new textbook edition of session 2020 and 2021 for all the matric students of science group.

Reasons For Changing the Curriculum

In the modern duration of technology where mobile computing and artificial intelligence is quite common, the education department of Sindh was teaching in the last two centuries the course of computer science to the 9^th class students. The Windows operating system, DOS and Language were taught in the GW-Basic as the latest computer language to the students. As of now, the education department has decided to teach students according to the latest technology for the betterment of their country and a bright future.
