All News Regarding Reopening of Schools are Baseless, Murad Raas

The Provincial Education Minister Dr. Murad Raas on Saturday has said that no decision has been taken yet regarding the reopening of schools in Punjab from August 15th, 2020.

All the reports about the confirm date of reopening of the schools are baseless. It is quite impossible to open the schools without controlling the corona virus pandemic (Covid-19). 

A tweet posted by Education Minister on Saturday, States:

As per the details, the Provincial Education Minister Dr Murad Rass said that no final date has been announced regarding the reopening of schools across the province. He moreover said that all the news spreading on the internet regarding the reopening date of schools are just baseless.

No Final Decision Regarding Reopening of Schools Has Been Taken Yet

Dr Murad Raas in the statement also added that the final decision to reopen the school on August 15th, 2020 will be taken only after the corona virus situation was brought under the control. Earlier, the fake rumors were spreading on the internet claiming that Provincial Education Minister has announced to reopen the Schools from August 15th if everything will be under control.

He also said that it is not possible to open the educational institutes without controlling this pandemic as it will badly affect the health of students. He also added that we could not endanger the lives of children and teacher by opening the schools without proper arrangements.
