Allama Iqbal Open University has uploaded the merit lists of the degree programs offered in the autumn semester of 2020. The merit lists have been finalized after ensuring complete transparency and merit upon the directive of the AIOU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Zia Ul Qayyum. The students that had applied in the programs such as MSc Mass Communication, MSc Public Nutrition, MSc Sustainable Environmental Design, and MA can now check the merit lists. AIOU is one of the largest educational institutes that invite applications from the candidates for the various programs. The students that have been selected will be provided with the admission information letter issued by the university at the postal address mentioned on the admission form at the time of registration. According to the sources the university officials have completed the process of dispatching the letter to the selected candidates and they will receive it soon.
Submission of Admission Fee
The selected candidates have to submit the admission fee according to the schedule announced by the university. The last date to deposit the admission fee is 11th December 2020. It is informed to the candidates that they can also verify their admission forms from the merit lists uploaded by the AIOU. In case the candidates do not receive the admission letter then they contact the concerned authorities through email or phone number.
Collaboration With HU
The Allama Iqbal Open University has collaborated with Hazara University to enhance the quality of the education so that better academic and research facilities can be provided to the students. The main aim is to extend the learning opportunities for the students even in the distant geographical regions of the country. The AIOU Vice-Chancellor confirmed that both universities signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and will collaborate on various projects such as student exchange programs, joint academic, research projects, and many other plans.
