Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will organize a 2-day international conference on the great poet as well as the best philosopher Dr. Allama Muhahmmad Iqbal today to highlight his vision as well as his impressive thoughts on the current issues.
The well-known national as well as international scholars and the writers will present their research papers on different phases of his life and on various stages of his work. Barrister Muneeb Iqbal, the grandson of Dr. Alama Muhammad Iqbal will be the chief guest on this event.
The Vice Chancellor of the university Dr. Shahid Siddiqui said that the main objective of these sorts of events is to appraise as well as to motivate the youth to search for the aspirations from the writings and sayings of the great Muslim thinker.
He also said that these are also part of research-based study as well as the social and literary activities, started by the University in its educational recreations. We attached the high priority to Dr. Iqbal since this University is after his name and they deliberate it their responsibility to keep up his magnificent work alive for the advantage of youth.
