AIOU Offers Scholarships To Its Students Securing 80% Marks

Allama Iqbal Open University is one of the largest educational institutes of Pakistan that has been offering its services from many past years. Recently AIOU has made a big announcement regarding the scholarship for the students. According to the sources, it has been decided that the university will grant the scholarship to its students securing 80% or above marks in the annual examination of the autumn semester 2020. There is no specific domain defined for the eligibility of the scholarship. Irrespective of the academic programs the students can apply in this scholarship program. 

Commencement of Annual Examination

The director student affairs said that the authorities will decide the rate of the scholarship and the number of the selected candidates according to the available funds of the student’s affairs. It is furthermore informed to the candidates that the annual examination of the various academic programs such as matric, FA, and ATTC will be started from 28th September 2020. 

Examination Schedule

The roll number slips and date sheet has been provided to the students so that they can prepare for the exams accordingly. The Vice-Chancellor of AIOU has also directed the university officials to conduct the annual exam in the nearby union councils in order to facilitate the students. The candidates have to follow the standard operating procedures in the examination hall to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The authorities will also ensure to maintain the social distance among the students sitting in the examination hall.
