AIOU Announces Financial Assistance Scheme For Deserving Students

Recently the Allama Iqbal Open University has announced the admissions in the autumn semester 2020 in various degree programs. The interested candidates can submit their admission form in the desired field to continue their studies. Now the university has announced the financial assistance scheme for the deserving students. The candidates that are physically challenged, poor, transgender and are children of the martyrs can apply for this scheme. This is only applicable for the students that are going to take admission in the semester autumn 2020. The deserving candidates can get the fee concession forms from the regional office of the Allama Iqbal Open University and can also download it. 

Allocation of Funds

To carry out this financial scheme successfully the university has allocated amount to fund the studies of the deserving students of the society. Due to lack of the resources, some intelligent and talented students left behind. So to overcome this issue the university has taken this initiative that will help the students to complete their studies and earn their livelihood to enjoy the perks of life. 

Proclamation of Vice-Chancellor

While addressing this issue, the vice-chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University, Professor Dr. Zia ul-Qayyum, said that our major aim is to facilitate the students so that through education they can bring the change in the society. Being a national educational institute AIOU is working for the benefits of the students by providing them the learning opportunities. 

Deadline To submit forms

The last date to submit the fee concession form for the matric and intermediate programs is 24th August 2020. While the students of the other degree programs such as BS, MSC, MS, and M.Phil must submit the form till 31st August 2020. It is advised to the students to attach all the required documents along with the application form.
