Admissions in PGD in English Language Teaching begin at GCU

Lahore, Government College University Lahore GCU has started admissions in postgraduate diploma in English Language Teaching. The Department of English Language and Literature at GCU is one of the oldest in the sub-continent. It has groomed some of the most prolific scholars, writers and poets during the last century and a half. The highly qualified English Language and Literature faculty offers a broad spectrum of qualification ranging from BA (Hons) to PhD.

Admissions are open for the fourth session of the PGD in ELT for in-service and aspiring teachers. Classes for the diploma would be held thrice every week in the evening to facilitate in-service teachers. Admission forms will be available at UBL GC University Branch from Nov 04 to 11, 2013.

The admissions are open for both male and female candidates. Candidates who have qualified BA/BSc pass, BA/BSc (Hons) or MA/MSc with minimum 50% marks form HEC recognized universities are eligible to apply.

The duration of the course consists of 9 months (Dec 2013 to Aug 2014). Dully filled admission forms must reached at the university before deadline.

The Government College, Lahore got the status of a University in 2002 and became a seat for higher learning. It was renamed as the GC University Lahore. The GCU is working to enhance and promote quality of education across the country.
