A court in the province of Jiangsu in East China sentenced a Chinese citizen to death. The citizen is to be accused of killing an innocent Pakistani student resident in China. A friend of the murderer who sheltered the murderer is sentenced to 17 months imprisonment. Pakistani students Maaz Ud Din was studying at Nanjing University in China. Almost two years ago a Chinese citizen, Kong killed him on an ordinary conflict.
The Reason Behind This Conflict
A Pakistani government news reporting agency, APP has reported that the incident happened on July 11th, 2018 when Kong hit his scooter (motorbike) to Pakistani Student Maaz Ud Din. This incident aroused a quarrel between Kong and Maaz and Kong found a knife from the nearby shop and penetrated it into the chest of Maaz Ud Din. Maaz Ud Din did not bear this attack and died. The intermediate people’s court in Nanjing has declared that it an intentional killing.
Courts Order Against Kong
The court has declared that as a mature citizen Kong must be aware that attacking through a knife on chest or back can be the reason for death. Despite this Kong attacked the major part of the body. The court has also declared that it is cleared from the Kong’s action that he was intending to kill his target.
Kong’s advocate spoke that the quarrel was initiated by the provocation of Maaz Ud Din. However, because of the lack of evidence, the court has denied the arguments of Kong’s advocate. After happening this incident Kong was sheltered by his friend, Xiao. The police caught them after passing 08 hours. Xiao was 18 years old at that time. The court has declared that Xiao was not familiar with the death of Maaz Ud Din. That’s why she does not deserve heavy imprisonment. However, to shelter a criminal the court sentenced Xiao imprisonment of 17 months.
