Karachi: The world is yours, go out and take over it, said parliamentary affairs minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro. He was the chief guest at the 13th annual convocation of the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) on Saturday evening.
Knowledge is the key to a progressive and successful Pakistan, he added.
During the ceremony, degrees were presented to 823 students from different programmes, including management science, social science, education, media science, bioscience, mechatronics engineering and computer science.
Among the graduating students, 388 were undergraduates while 433 were postgraduates.

Total 7 seven students were awarded gold medals for their performance in their respective departments while 12 students were awarded along with silver medals.
Almost 90 students graduated on the Chancellor’s Honours List.

While admiring the performance of the students, faculty, as well as management, Khuhro also acknowledged the efforts of the founder of the institute.
The degrees presented to the graduating students are not just a blueprint however a roadmap for their professional as well as personal growth, said Szabist president Shahnaz Wazir Ali.
