Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that youth should struggle for changing the current system which is based on corruption. He said that youth could make Pakistan a developed country and corruption free.

He was addressing on the laptop distribution ceremony at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) on Tuesday. While addressing he said if encouragement of brilliant students is a crime, he will continue to commit it.

The Chief Minister distributed 6,585 laptops among students while 900 students would receive laptops in the next phase. He also gave laptops to two UET students for recently winning a level speech competition in the Punjab. The chief minister said that he would personally pay for the two laptops.

Adviser to Chief Minister Begum Zakiya Shahnawaz, MNA Ahsan Iqbal and Special Assistants to Chief Minister Khwaja Salman Rafique and Zaeem Hussain Qadri were also there.

The chief minister said that youth is the hope for a wonderful future of the country. He further said that government had taken steps to provide them modern technology for national development.  Providing scholarships to the deserving students and introducing computer labs at public schools were parts of the government’s determination to provide modern education to the students. He said that he had never received a guard of honor from the police. He was a humble servant to the people.
