20 percent increase expected in government employees' salaries

Lahore: Here is good news for all the government officials in Punjab that the upcoming budget is expected to raise the government employees’ salaries by 10% to 20% whereas the pensions are expected to be raised by 20% to 30%, a private news channel reported.

The salaries will definitely rise however the raise may differ in line along with the federal budget.  The preparation of the budget in Punjab is under process however the question is that would it be a really good for the government officers or not is yet to be seen.

The officers who are preparing this budget have been told to ensure that the government employees are happy along with the budget.
