18 new professors join International Islamic University, Islamabad

18 new professors joined the International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad Yesterday (Monday). The academic staff association of the university arranged a special ceremony to welcome them.

Along with the new professors, 24 associate professors, assistant professors as well as the lecturers, who were appointed to the different departments, were also present in the ceremony.

These appointments were approved by all the Board of Governors of the University in the 78^th board meeting.

The Principal of International Islamic University, Dr Masoom Yasinzai said that “The do-more policy is condition in terms of enhancements in education. International Islamic University will look for the maximum results from the newly welcomed faculty members who have become a sign of strengthened academic wings of the university”.

He moreover said that the management will continue endeavoring for the development of the University.

The president of International Islamic University Dr. Al-Draiweesh said that hard work led to success as well as that a galaxy of the new professors and the associate professors at the IIU was an example of the mutual efforts of the management.

He added that the “Teachers are the fate changers for Muslim Ummah. They must take their everyday jobs along with the due dedication as well as nurture youths in the best contemporary manners.”

The president of ASA, Dr. Zafar Iqbal praised the support, collaboration as well as the dedication of the IIU leadership and said that the appointments will help the university grow.

The new inductees than-ked the International Islamic University for trusting their capabilities and said they will do their assigned tasks to the best of their skills.
