A delegation of approximately 15 Pakistani university aspirants together with their one supervisor will visit Japan on the invitation given by the Government of Japan from 17th January 2016 to 27th January 216 under the "Japan-SAARC Network Programme of People to People Exchange (JENESYS). The University aspirants from the member states of SAARC have also been invited by the government of Japan to participate in this short-term invitation programme.
The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan in collaboration with the MEXT Alumni Association of Pakistan (MAAP) carefully selected these students representing the four provinces of Pakistan. MAAP is an association of the former Pakistani alumni's of Japanese universities.
JENESYS is a youth exchange programme among the Japan as well as the SAARC countries to endorse and strengthen the bond between Japan and SAARC nations. Under this programme, the partoicipants would be given the chance to scoop out their understanding on cutting-edge high technologies of Japan and its support for the local and creative industries, experience the traditional culture of Japan, plus make connections along with the resident people. The aspirants will also get a chance to visit the energy sector to observe how Japan is competently meeting its energy requirements whereas protecting its nature and environment. This programme is presumed to develop mutual understanding between the youngster’s in Japan and SAARC nations.
