Bachelors in Industrial Management

Overview

Bachelors in Industrial Management programme is to produce professionally competent graduates who are entrepreneurial, creative, capable of critical thinking and committed to life-long learning. In order to accomplish this objective, Industrial Management is a profession which is concerned with application of mathematical methods and tools for solving problems relating to the allocation of scarce resources subject to constraints. This Industrial Management Degree program provides an opportunity for employment in all of the major disciplines of Industrial Management or widely known as Operations Management. It is offered for students from applied statistics, applied science, science stream and accounting stream that have a minimum knowledge in mathematics/statistics. It is designed to provide a decision making oriented qualification, which will prepare graduates for employment in manufacturing industry, services industry, technology and marketing research firms.

This degree's aim to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, having sound foundation in industrial management, professional ethics, national values, critical thinking and capable to manage the industrial organizations. The course work provides confidence to the students to take an active part in the progress of the society through strong management practices. Students will be exposed to the theory and modern industrial management practices with hands on practical experience of tools and techniques being used in common industrial technologies.

Admission Requirements

Requirements for Bachelors in Industrial Management:

  • Candidate should have 12 years of education.
  • Candidates should have intermediate degree from recognized college or university.
  • Foreign students must route their applications through the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan.
  • Admission will be made on merit, subject to the regional quota.
