Wise College for Girls Lahore is currently inviting applications for the 2025 academic year. Founded in 1991, the college provides free education to needy students with the goal of empowering them through quality education and skill enhancement. Courses are Intermediate (I.Com) and Associate Degree Program (ADP) in Commerce (B.Com), both being University of the Punjab affiliated. The college focuses on self-learning projects, imparting IT skills training and online income generation opportunities to students. Free books, uniforms, lunch, and health care services are also provided to students. Admission to the institution takes place after an entry test and a panel interview to ensure worthy candidates are enrolled.
Admission Process
Admission to Wise College for Girls is intended to find and nurture deserving students. The prospective candidates have to qualify an entry test and attend a panel interview, to which their parents are required to accompany them. Only a limited number of students are admitted to the college annually, with boys and girls having different classes. Throughout the I.Com course, the students are enrolled in IT skill training courses, and if they pass, they are provided a chance to proceed to the B.Com course on merit. The college also provides interest-free loans to deserving candidates to enable them to establish their own businesses.
Eligibility Criteria
For the I.Com program, candidates should have passed their matriculation or equivalent certificate, with at least 60% marks in the 9th and 10th grades. Admission is available to deserving, orphan, and talented students. For B.Com course, candidates should have passed the I.Com with 60% marks (1st Division) or above. Seats are also reserved for students from other colleges on merit. Candidates should not be more than 24 years of age. They should pass the panel interview. Students who are avid self-learners and entrepreneurs are given preference.
