Located in Karachi, the Vocational Training Institute for Women (VTIW) is committed to offering vocational education at a highly affordable fee. By providing practical training courses, the institution targets women for empowerment through employment and self employment. Although the fee structure for 2025 has not been officially announced, VTIW has a tradition of keeping its courses low cost, if not entirely free, particularly for women from poor and underprivileged families. This initiative ensures that every woman who yearns to learn a trade can actually do so without undue financial burden.
Programs Fee structure
VTIW offers diplomas and certificate courses in Computer Information Technology (CIT), Graphics Designing, Dress Making, Fashion Designing, and Beautician Training. The course fee varies according to period and other resources required. Like other vocational institutes, these others charge low fees that may only barely cover costs incurred for teaching material and administration. Short courses such as Personal Grooming and Hair Cutting charge insignificant fees, more advanced programs like AutoCAD and CAD for Textile Designing can be slightly more expensive. Since fee structures are subject to changes, interested candidates should call to find out the latest information from the institute.
Scholarship & Financial Assistance
To help students, VTIW liaises with various federal and non-governmental foundations to provide scholarships and financial support to needy students. This includes the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program, which has announced that 50% of all sponsorship would serve female students at a subsidized rate. The Prime Minister's Digital Youth Hub under other government programs supports technically oriented scholarships. This financial aid sometimes can encompass tuition and stipends to the candidates throughout their training.
