As the university has two semesters, the admissions open twice a year before the commencement of each semester. Virtual University of Pakistan offers admission twice in an academic year namely spring in the month of January/February and fall in the month of August/September each year.

All candidates are instructed to read out the eligibility criteria specified for the degree program they are applying in. The admission is solely based on merit.
The application form needs to be filled and completed with honesty. Required documents should be attested and attached with the application form. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted.
The application form, required documents should be submitted along with paid fee Challan/Demand Draft to the nearest Virtual Campus.

The admission forms should be submitted before the closing date of admisisons. As no application forms shall be entertained afterwards. When the application forms reach the Registrar’s office they shall be verified.
The application forms shall be scrutinized by the admission committee. The successful and eligible candidates will be notified about their admission via email. A list of the successful candidates is also updated at the University website.
Note: MS/M.Phil. Admissions will be processed on merit basis after VU Entry Test.
