PVTC Multan (Female Campus)

The Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) is a program launched by the Government of Punjab, Pakistan with the purpose of delivering technical training for raising efficiency and creating employment. One of its important campuses is the Multan Female Campus, which aims at providing an environment that enables the women to work according to their choice and training by providing them technically sound and market oriented programs. This campus is seeking to help young women be employable in the market, and closing the gap between what education expects students to know to what the market expects a beginner to know.

Academic Programs Offered

The Multan Female Campus of PVTC provides a number of vocational courses that are aimed at the specific sectors of the economy. Such programs aim at providing students practical experience and knowledge in certain areas such as garment making, beauty and cosmetics, computer studies and other related fields, nursing. They are structured to respond to demand of the local and national employment sector to meet current market to help student obtain skills that are useful. After the training, they are ready for the workplace so they can defend themselves and they are financially steady since most start own ventures.

The facilities of this university also ensure the necessary resources for the Female Campus in Multan and in general, they contribute to the PVTC Multan’s endeavor of women independent in the region. By offering lower cost to cost effective vocationally based courses, the institution prepares women to gain confidence and support their families as well as the society. Today, we see many young people carrying out employment services or generating employment for the others after having graduated from this campus through acceptable employment services. Therefore the concentration of PVTC on the education and skill enhancement of female is considering an important way to redress the gender & economic imbalance of the region.
