Admission Process

The admission procedure at NLC follows multiple necessary stages. The application process demands candidates to submit properly authenticated copies of their essential documents which include their academic records and their CNIC in addition to their passport picture. To seek admission into Law Admission Test (LAT), candidates must achieve at least 50% of the total marks. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan organizes the Law Admission Test with its headquarters in Islamabad. The interview invitation follows the completion of the LAT screening process. Selections happen through the evaluation of LAT performance and interview performance combined. ​

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to enroll in the LL.B. 5-Year Program at NLC need to pass Intermediate (FA/F.Sc.) with at least 45% and show proof of passing the Law Admission Test (LAT) with at least 50% marks. All applicant candidates must demonstrate their passing score in the Law Admission Test (LAT) with marks at minimum 50%. The Law Admission Test is a necessary qualification established by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Candidates who have not received their Intermediate results yet can apply to NLC as long as they fulfill the set eligibility standards after results are announced.
