Officially, Namal University Mianwali has opened admissions for the Fall 2025 session. This year, undergraduate programs are being offered for students in the following disciplines: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, and Mathematics. Application Deadline
NAMAL University Fall 2025 admission last date is July 31st, 2025. It is essential for applicants to assure that they should have completed the application before the last date to avoid any hurdle during admission. The university does have a hard cut-off and cannot extend the deadline. If a student completes the application by the stated time, it gives time for the admissions office to receive the application, look at swim records, confirm eligibility, and create a shortlist for the next stage.
Namal Online Application Submission
- To start your application, open Namal Online Application Portal.
- Fill in your personal information.
- Provide a valid Email Address and Phone Number, these will be used for future communication regarding application status.
- Choose your 1st, 2nd and 3rd Program Preference i.e. the Study Programs at your priority.
- Fill in your academic information (Matriculation/equivalent, Intermediate/equivalent and Entry Test).
- Review your complete application details and click on Submit button to apply.
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 70% marks in Intermediate/equivalent exams. The result awaiting candidates will also be eligible to apply based on HSSC first-year/equivalent exams, who will be offered conditional admission offer.
- The confirmation of admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 70% marks in the Intermediate/equivalent exams, providing the (certificate or detailed mark sheet etc.) after the declaration of the result, duly verified by the relevant Board / Board's website.
- Non-Matriculation/Intermediate stream students must provide an equivalence certificate obtained from IBCC, Pakistan.
Online Application Portal
All admissions applications must be submitted via Namal University’s official online admissions portal. The intention of the online application is to be user-friendly and time-efficient and allows students to conveniently enter their personal information, academic history, and selected programs to apply easily. The online application also has the benefit of being transparent and convenient, especially for students who live in remote or rural areas to access the online admissions system. The online portal allows you to easily upload your supporting documents (transcripts pictures, etc.) also.
Application Processing Fee
The application processing fee is Rs. 1000, applicable to all candidates. This fee is non-refundable. The application fee must be submitted through several different ways, including direct bank deposit in MCB Bank, or digital payment systems such as JazzCash and EasyPaisa. Instructions for generating and submitting the fee challan, including how to submit your fee, are listed on the admissions pages of the university's website. Proof of payment is to be attached at time of submitting your application.
Entry Test Requirement
Admissions to all undergraduate programs will be made on the basis of aptitude and performance on an entry test. Namal University accepts NTS test results, where applicants are required to register for the test directly through the NTS website. The entry test is designed to evaluate a candidate’s aptitude, based on the subject area of their chosen program. Only those candidates who satisfy minimum criteria in academic record and entry test performance will satisfy the entry test requirement.
Admission Requirements
To be qualified for admission in 2025, applicants must have attained at least 70% in their Matriculation (or equivalent) and Intermediate (or equivalent) examinations. Application is permitted for students that have not yet received their final Intermediate results, but they MUST qualify as stated above by the time their result is announced. Furthermore, the students MUST be from a recognized education board or institution to validate their educational history.
Merit Calculation
The merit for admission is determined by a balanced formula (equation) of 50% for Intermediate Marks and 50% for the Entry Test. This method allows for an overall evaluation of both high academic achievement and aptitude. The university does not publish the minimum qualifying scores year by year for the applicants before decisions are made after the pool of applicants are evaluated.
Financial Assistance & Scholarships
Namal University remains fully committed to its mission of making education affordable and accessible. More than 90% of enrolled students receive financial aid through a wide range of scholarships and schemes. Namal has numerous scholarships for merit-based students and a range of need-based support for low-income students. Students that have a need for financial support must complete a financial assistance form and if required, attend an interview or provide a document for verification as part of the assessment process.
