Study Programs:

The Information Technology University offers different undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs. The four faculties that offer these degree programs are mentioned below.  

• Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

• Faculty of Engineering

Admission Requirements:

The admissions requirements depend upon the degree program you are looking forward to. However, the basic admission requirements for different disciplines are mentioned below.

For Undergraduate Admissions:

• A candidate must have at least 60% marks in matriculation or an equivalent degree program.

• A candidate must have at least 50% in their Intermediate or equivalent degree.

• A minimum score for eligibility is 50% on the ITU entry test.

For Graduate Admissions:

• A minimum grade of 55% or 2.5 CGPA in the relevant field from a Higher Education Commission recognized university with a minimum grade of 55% or 2.5 CGPA

• A minimum score of 60% in the ITU Graduate Admissions Test.

For PhD Admissions:

• Candidate must possess 18 years of education from a recognized university by Higher Education Commission.

• Scored at least 60% marks for annual or 3.0 CGPA in the semester system.

• Graduate Admissions Test with a minimum score of at least 70% in the ITU.

Research Facility:

One of ITU's primary focus is the utilization of inventive applied research to address contemporary issues. The university puts a strong emphasis on research and has performed well in the research department. Due to its numerous remarkable research developments, the university has received research funding from the Government of the Punjab; the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the Department for International Development; and the World Bank. The university has spent a total of PKR 700 million for research purposes in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Career Opportunities:

The Student Services and Placement Office (SSPO) at Information Technology University is determined to give different opportunities to students to develop their vision and leadership skills as well as to find and secure career options that reflect their interests, abilities, and aspirations. The SSPO oversees and coordinates all student-related activities and offers career-related resources through counselling. They help to assist individuals in determining their academic and career goals, creating career plans, and creating employment strategies.
