Admission Process

Admissions are made online through the Online College Admission System (OCAS), which has been designed by the Punjab Government. Candidates need to make an online profile, complete the admission form for the intended program, and choose Government Degree College for Women, Gawalmandi, from the list of colleges. Candidates then need to print the challan form and deposit the application fee at any Bank of Punjab branch. In addition to the online application, students have to provide three attested copies of the matriculation result card, a character certificate from the previous school, an attested copy of their father's or guardian's CNIC, recent passport-sized photographs, and a migration certificate (if required). All the documents have to be provided prior to the announced deadline to establish eligibility for merit based shortlisting.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have cleared Matriculation (SSC) with a minimum percentage of 60% marks in order to gain admission into commerce and science streams, and lesser percentages may also be accepted from arts students. The applicants in general should not be more than 18 years old, unless exceptions. Specific quotas are provided for differently able students, minority students, and sports champions. Migration certificates for students from non-BISE Lahore boards must be produced. Admissions are granted strictly on merit, and misrepresentation of information or late submissions will result in disqualification.
