Program Objectives:
GIFT University has launched the Master of Science with two primary objectives. First, to provide opportunities to the students with outstanding academic performance in the undergraduate programs to prepare them for studies at the doctoral level. Second, to provide an opportunity for professionals who are already working in the field with a desire to enhance their knowledge to make progress in their professional careers and better serve their respective organizations.

Program Description:
MS in Computer Science is a 2-year graduate-level academic degree. The main focus of this degree is on preparing students for doctoral level studies as well as enabling professionals working in the industry to assume the role of senior team leads, software architects, and software project managers. It has been observed that many professionals working in the industry find it difficult to adjust to class timings therefore there is a need to hold classes at times that are convenient for such students. Also, students are not ready to undertake research work and need preparation and training. The MS in Computer Science at GIFT University has been conceived and organized with all these objectives in mind. Thus the program is designed with a fine balance between the theoretical and applied sides of computer science and has been structured in a manner to facilitate the working professionals without compromising on the quality or time requirements to complete the degree.

Career Opportunities:
This program has been designed to prepare the students for doctoral level studies as well as cope with the ever growing demands of a very rapidly changing software industry. After completing this degree, the working professionals can assume the role of software designer, architects, senior team leads, and senior analysis and process engineer. Graduates can also start their careers as faculty members or go for doctoral studies.
