College of Fashion and Design Faisalabad is affiliated with the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) Lahore which was established in 1995 as Pakistan School of Fashion Design. The institute got degree awarding status by the Federal Government in 2007. PIFD is developing professional skills in students which they require to get a better job in fashion industry. College of Fashion and Design Faisalabad is offering 4-years bachelor’s degree programs in Fashion Design. The courses are designed to identify the students’ inner potential and offers unique opportunity to experiment, investigate, explore and evaluate.  The teaching methodologies like lectures, seminars, hands-on studio interaction, market research and group studies give the essential base.

Programs Offered

The College of Fashion and Design Faisalabad provides various programs from undergraduate to diploma levels. Undergraduate programs include Bachelor in Fashion Designing, Bachelor Fine Arts, and allied fields, such as in fashion designing, textile designing, garment technology, and others. The college offers specialized diploma courses in fashion designing, accessory designing, and garment production to equip students with proper skills. These programs allow students to enter the world of fashion with sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge.

Providing for the modern needs of the fashion design students, the College has a quite big campus equipped with modern facilities. This includes spacious classrooms, neat fashion design studios, and textile laboratories where students can undertake research projects while gaining practical exposure. The library houses an exhaustive range of books, journals, and fashion magazines to aid the process of research and knowledge. In addition to this, the college has a fashion lab through which students can get acquainted with different materials and textiles while also able to experiment with designs and develop their creativity. Besides, various activities such as fashion shows, workshops, and industry meetings keep students informed of the realities of the fashion industry.
