This advantage is more superior to the others as people are free to work in the environment they find themselves to be more productive. Whether it be with music playing while working or enjoying a movie side by side. Studies have shown people are more productive when they operate in their choice of the workspace.

  • Ease of time management

Working daily in the same routine can cause monotonous lifestyle. If waking up early is not your thing and you have to struggle with time management than working from home provides this flexibility. People can work whenever they want from wherever they want.

  • Fewer expenses

The hidden charges are cut off like traveling to the workplace, dressing professionally etc. It is great for parents who have infant children because it saves up on day care charges. Besides, it is satisfying for parents to know that they are around their children. Also, when it rains or it’s a bad weather home based job workers do not have to worry.

  • You are your boss

People in the day job would agree a lot to this that their boss can be quite hard on them sometimes. They are usually not comfortable and productive when the boss is around. The stressful environment is not a problem when you are working from home. Home workers are free to work at whatever time they prefer. They can also take a break when they feel like. In other words, they are their own boss.

  • Less anxiety

The competitive environment in office causes stress and anxiety. The workload is manageable when working from home, thus helps in a healthier lifestyle. The workplace is of your choice and the final results of the given task are much finer.

All the resources people need are around them at home. They do not have to worry about matters related to the office. People are much more relaxed and can take a break when they are overworked. All these plus points contribute to a more efficient and effective work done.

Working from home leaves people to be stuck in one place. They are confined to one room, without coworkers, a boss, it can sometimes feel like they are alone. While working from home, people do not feel like going out with friends and family. This results in detachment from the world around.

  • Lack of uniformity

At home, there is always something going on around, which lead to poor concentration. The environment is your choice but the distraction is not. While working people are literally unable to differentiate between work and home. With all this working in a constant rhythm is quite hard.

  • Superlative management skills

When you are your own boss you have the extra burden of figuring out the right time table. For this reason, employees need to be very cautious of the time management. They need to set your priorities and manage home and work. This can be very hard sometimes.

  • No interaction with real job industry

Working from home means you would really not be in the job industry because with each passing day people learn something new from other people. Alone at home, they are not networking with people to get another better job opportunities.

  • Lack of routine

As mentioned above, no uniformity in day to day can cause an imbalance in life. Being able to formulate a schedule is hard. Sleep pattern gets disturbed as there is no set time and most people find it easy to work at night and sleep during the day. This is a setback of working from home.

  • Communication gap between employer and employee

When at the office people are being constantly checked and balanced for the work assigned. By working from home, a communication gap is formed between employee and employer which tend to exaggerate the work and workload. This happens because the employee is not attending meetings, and are not on constant watch. This gets solved by passing time, but it is still an issue.
